Summer Infant 2014 3D Lite Convenience Stroller, Citrus Reviews

Good looking stroller, but did not work out for us (By Olga Boyarova)

We purchased this item for 1 year old child, used it from January 2014 through September 2014, and then the frame on one side just broke in half. I guess it happened because we did not fold it properly once, damaged it and it just broke, so I cannot blame it all on the stroller :o)
Pros:
– nice colors
– tall stroller, comfortable for tall person
– nice fabric
– really lightweight
– easy to clean
Cons:
– the seat is wide BUT not deep enough, my 1 year old was not totally comfortable in there
– after first short trip in light snow and salt it started to squeak
– not one click fold stroller, requires extra maneuver
– if it is fully reclined you cannot access the basket!
– very difficult to drive it with one hand, if you have to
– my daughter managed to put her feet behind and under footrest, so she could stop the strolled with her feet whenever she felt like it :o)

Overall, if you are planning to use your stroller a lot for walking, traveling, shopping etc, it would be wiser to purchase something more practical and sturdy, probably more expensive. We ended up buying another stroller.

It easily opens & closes (By Didi)

This is a cute & super-light stroller. It easily opens & closes. The basket is of considerable size for quick shopping trips, but not accessible when the seat is fully reclined…not an issue for me. The water bottle holder that comes with it does fall off easily (as stated in other reviews), but I don’t use it…I have my own caddy which also holds other items. It is definitely easier to maneuver with 2 hands; single-handed turns are doable, but not as easy and/or smooth. We took the 3D Lite with us on a recent trip, and it really came in handy. Most importantly, my little girl enjoys riding in it.

I really like this. We usually buy maclarens but after 4 kids I thought I was “settling” by buying a cheaper stroller. However, this stroller is fantastic, easy to use, easy to close, I love the canopy and the cupholder. Took a bit to get used to the way the seatbelt closes but that’s a minor issue. I really like the yellow color too.

Was really hoping that this would be a great stroller after reading many good reviews (By Mai)

Was really hoping that this would be a great stroller after reading many good reviews. I personally did not like 2 things. The sitting area was not very deep and had a large slope…so every time my 2 year old would come to sit by himself he would slip down. I have now another lite chicco stroller and he climbs in there comfortably. Also don’t know if it was just a default in mine, but front wheels always gave me a hard time and would have to pick up whole stroller and fix them to correct direction myself. Driving and smoothness was not so good because of those front wheels. My new stroller i see the difference big time! Paid a little more, but well worth it.

I will say i did like 2 things about it…the carrying strap and the large uv shade. Wish it was possible to make a stroller that has it all!!

I love this stroller (By Raven)

I love this stroller. After 3 kids and 5 strollers I finally found a great umbrella stroller. I wish this model was out when my firstborn arrived, would have saved me money that I wasted on vrappy strollers.

I am in love with this stroller (By Allison)

I am in love with this stroller! It is everything I wanted in an umbrella stroller. The wheels work great. The height is higher than any umbrella stroller I have used. Easy to open and close. I could not be happier with my purchase.

This fits the bill beautifully and I adore the yellow and gray colors also (By C. Dodge)

My priorities in shopping for a stroller were a large shade for my very fair skinned daughter and a compact fold. This fits the bill beautifully and I adore the yellow and gray colors also. We’ve been using this stroller for about 6 months already, generally for errands or 30- 60 min walks around our neighborhood. My daughter seems to be perfectly comfortable and the basket behind the seat is a nice size, plenty of room for a few items while shopping or a snack cup, sippy, sweatshirt, blanket, etc when we’re out for a walk.

This is a great little stroller for the price (By Kathy Nicholes)

This is a great little stroller for the price. It is a little heavier that I was hoping for but the sun shade and the cargo carrying pouch are more than handy. It does take two hands to fold and really to set up, but it is well made and is holding up well.
