Best umbrella stroller! (By J. Smith)

We needed a travel stroller for an overseas trip. My daughter is almost 5, but we knew we’d be doing a lot of walking and touring. We’ve been through several umbrella strollers that have not lasted more than one trip- and were painful to push and uncomfortable for my daughter. So I did research this time, and finally decided on this one. It was one of the few umbrella strollers that had a higher weight limit (my daughter is almost 40 lbs.), and got great reviews.

We all LOVED it! I loved that it was easier to push than most umbrella strollers, even over grass; the storage basket underneath came in so much handy as we loaded it each morning with things we might need for the entire day- jackets, travel book, blanket, water, etc. I liked the cupholder (though I wish it had 2), and the little storage bag in the back was perfect for sunglasses, tissues, and hand wipes. My husband appreciated the higher handles. He’s over 6′ tall, and he usually has to hunch over to push an umbrella stroller, yet this one was tall enough to be comfortable for him, yet not too tall for me (I’m only 5’4″). We both loved what a pack horse it was! We even loaded it up with luggage and it didn’t waver. It was a lifesaver. My daughter loved it, too. It was very comfortable for her, reclined nicely, and she even took several long naps comfortably in it.

All in all, we are very pleased with this purchase and I am SO glad we have finally found the perfect umbrella stroller- without having to pay an arm and a leg! (Too bad we went through so many before I finally sat down and did the research!)

Just what I needed (By Jesus Alfredo Martinez)

I bought this stroller right before my vacation to Disneyland, actually I had it delivered to the hotel with no issues. The parks were a good test for the stroller. First of all, it came in a box, almost fully assembled, I only had to assemble the wheels, canopy and cupholder and I had no problem doing that without any tool. It was ready in 10 minutes. The materials look durable and colors are cool. My daughter is 3 years old, so I don’t need the 5 point seatbelt, I just had to detach the 2 upper belts (they still hang in the back of the seat, but that is ok for me, actually they are useful for hanging other items.

During the days at the parks the stroller did a great job, it handles very easily, has the perfect height so I don’t have to crouch in order to push it (I’m 5’11”). The seat reclines almost flat, so my daughter was quite comfortable when sleeping. The basket is very useful, it can hold 2 adult hoodies, 1 pair of child shoes, 1 plush toy and 2 small bottles of water and still had some room. The back pocket is great, you can store sunglasses, maps and more, and you can close the pocket with a Velcro cap.

I hung 2 backpacks, one on each handle and it was fine, it steered ok (obviously with no child on it, the stroller would roll backwards). The canopy is ok, it has this extra section that provides more shade, anyway when the sun was down I had to place a jacket on the canopy in order to extend it.

It is also easy to fold, you just have to pull a handle and then push a little lever, but when folded it is not really compact, it is ok to put it in a car’s trunk though. The weight is ok if you just want to lift it momentarily, my wife could lift it easily, but if you plan to carry it for more than 5 minutes you need a smaller/lighter stroller.

Good but not GREAT. (By Sha-Lo)

I purchased this item because of the reviews that it’s a lightweight “suped up” umbrella stroller. It IS very lightweight, however I’m not pleased with a few of the features. Namely, the plastic materials are very cheap quality – I did expect more. The canopy is paper thin, however it does provide proper protection. I also think the seat depth is too shallow for my 16 month old and it’s supposed to take her to 50 lbs, she’s only 23 lbs so far. Also, the seat reclining function requires you to get behind the stroller and release with both hands (no biggy) but it’s still a slight “con” on my review. What annoyed me most was the fact that to set it up the foot stand to press down is very narrow, not even my size 5 foot couldn’t get leverage to press down to secure it. So, I pushed the front wheels against my car tire for leverage and pressed down firmly with the tip of my foot and it worked fine (again, not a biggy) but I expected more. Lastly I’m 5 feet tall, I wished the handles were removable for shorter parents. Otherwise, it’s a 4 star for me…good buy.

A Perfect Investment! (By Jenn H)

Bought this stroller to use at Disney. Going to a Disney theme park is an all day and physically exhausting trip for an adult and I wanted something comfortable for push my 2 year old toddler in to make my trip easier and less demanding. This product was PERFECT. It is compact, durable, and lightweight. It is not heavy at all, and is easy to carry with the sling when you are on the move. It was also very easy to assemble right out of the box (my toddler enjoyed helping). The handles are ergonomically correct and made life easy for me as I am 5’4 and suffer from lower back pain. My experience with other umbrella like strollers leave me in considerable pain. This stroller was a perfect investment. I wish I had purchased it sooner
